If it doesn’t seem like a reasonable amount of time, it being too long or too short, then there’s an issue.

This is one of the most important questions you should ask whoever you’re hiring. You don’t want to choose a company that’s going to charge you an arm or a leg but you also don’t want to go with the cheapest option without making sure they’re the best.
